- The surface is purely natural stone. Even though being super thin (a thinness of ~0.1mm could be achieved, as thin as a paper), it retains all the beauty and uniqueness of stone textures that other artificial stones are impossible to replicate.
- The next layer is the “eureka” special compound which retains all the stone elements together. This special compound is patented by the Germans kept as a tight secret.
- The fiberglass layer is used to make the stone and compound layers durable, further enhancing the connection of all the stone elements. Also, it helps prevent the stone layer to crack during peeling process.
- The back of the Adal Stone® is enhanced with resin or fabric depending on the series.
Adal Stone® comprises of 3 distinct series:
- Slim Cover: this is the most rigid stone veneer with lowest price range. Its thickness varies from 1.5-2mm. It is suitable for interior and exterior applications, mainly on flat surface or slightly curved surfaces.
- Flexi Face: this is the super flexible stone veneer which is only ~0.5mm thin. It is enhanced with fabric back. This can be applied to essentially any tricky surfaces including curved surfaces and square edges.
- Light Wall: similar to Slim Cover but with clear resin back which allows lights to come through. This translucent stone veneer can be used to create impressive stone lights which is highly attractive.
